Summer of Manga

Although I have been picking up Manga randomly at the used bookstore and watching whatever Anime was presented to me as after school cartoons or through the various other media outlets, I never really got all that into it... until around the summer of 2008. In May that year, after I had discovered a liking for the anime known as Saiyuki, a friend let me know that Tokyopop had released the first 9 volumes online. By the time July hit, the free Saiyuki manga had me hooked. When I acquired a gift card for my birthday, the first thing I hit was every Saiyuki manga the store had and then I went crazy and tried several other great looking series. Death Note, Fruits Basket, Bleach, and Wild Adapter filled out the remainder of my giftcard... and my infatuation with Manga began!

Quote-GoodWill

"... Earlier tonight we disagreed on our interpretation of Charity. Silly wasn't it. [...] There should never be a thing called Charity. There should never have been the neccessity to create the word. In this short span we call our lives, if each man would only realise that every other man has dreams and hopes, this world wouldn't be a topsy-turvy place, then Peace on Earth would be a fact. Good will would be for everyman."

~ Lemont Cranston, The Shadow "The Stockings were Hung". December 24, 1939.

Iron Man 2

Iron Man 2 (2-d)

On May 15, 2010, I went with two friends to view the new Iron Man movie. As a general thought, the movie was a little too long, the story wasn't as engaging as the first time around and there were slow parts, but over all it was another fine adventure that I wouldn't mind watching again. Yes, there is an end tag so stick around after the credits.

Maybe I will figure out how to write a good review, but for now, this is all I have to say.

A Better Image

Posterous told me I could post anything without signing up... This I gotta see....

but to make it at least a little interesting what shall I add? My commentary about You and I ... yes, that will work.

\\ You and I really need to talk about you and me. I am a subject. You talk about me. However, when (you and) me go out in the world, you talk about (you and) I.... and that is just wrong. Do you understand or do (you and) I need to get a big stick to help you (and me) along? \\

He, she, they and it don't even talk to him, her, them and it, but we all know when it's wrong.
